Tina Bobbe

My doctoral research at CeTI is situated at the intersection of industrial design, technology development and science communication. As part of my studies, I explore the role of demonstrators and their effect on science communication to enable a dialogue between science and society. I am further interested in active and early user involvement in the design process to direct current research and technology towards valuable applications. Prior to my doctoral research, I studied Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design at TU Berlin and TU Dresden and obtained a diploma degree (Dipl.-Ing.) from TU Dresden, Chair of Industrial Design Engineering.

Publishing my first journal paper with interdisciplinary effort.

How to actively include people in the process of designing and developing future products after they engaged with demonstrators.

How do you spend your spare time?

Exploring the world with my daughter.
